Candidates seeking admission to LLB programme at Delhi University must note that no application will be accepted without the application fee. Candidates under UR/OBC-NCL/EWS category have to submit INR 1,500 as a registration fee and candidates under SC/ST/PwBD category have to deposit INR 1,000.

DU LLB Registration 2023 Begin based on CLAT 2023 Score

DU LLB Admission 2023-24: The University of Delhi has commenced the registration process for DU LLB admission 2023. Delhi University has activated the DU LLB registration link at law.uod.ac.in. The varsity has also released information brochure for LLB admission. The DU LLB registration 2023 process has begun days after the Delhi High Court ordered that the university can admit students based on Common Law Admission Test (CLAT-UG 2023) score,

DU LLB allotment results 2023 will be declared based on the merit, category, availability of seats. In the DU LLB application form 2023, candidates must enter the choices in the order of preference. Editing the preferences after the stipulated deadline will not be allowed.

DU LLB registration fee 2023

Candidates seeking admission to LLB programme at Delhi University must note that no application will be accepted without the application fee. Candidates under UR/OBC-NCL/EWS category have to submit INR 1,500 as a registration fee and candidates under SC/ST/PwBD category have to deposit INR 1,000.

DU LLB 2023 course fees

After the approval is accorded, candidates will have to pay Rs 1,90,000 (One lakh ninety thousand only) as confirmation of the allocated seat. 90 percent waiver of fees will be given to students whose parental income is INR 4 lakh or less at the time of admission. Those with parental income more than INR 4 lakh and less than INR 8 lakh will receive a 50% waiver of fees. A full fee after deduction of INR 5,000 will be refunded if an applicant withdraws before the last date of admission.

All admitted students will be reimbursed the cost of a laptop or INR 50,000, whichever is lesser, the university said.

DU LLB registration process

In order to register for DU LLB Programme, candidates have to enter a valid email address and mobile number and name as given in the CLAT score card 2023:

  • Go to the DU Law admission portal, law.uod.ac.in.
  • On the homepage, navigate and click on the ‘New registration’ link.
  • In the input field, enter name, mobile number, email id and OTP to generate password.
  • Now, login again using the credentials generated.
  • Key in personal and academic details and CLAT score.
  • Upload all required documents such as caste certificate, CLAT scorecard.
  • Make the payment of fees through online mode.
  • Enter the choice of courses in the order of preferences.
  • Review and submit the application form.

The university introduced two five-year integrated law programmes - BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) - through CLAT score. Although the Bar Council of India (BCI) approved 120 seats, 60 for each course, the decision to grant admission through CLAT was challenged in Delhi HC. However, now, the court has said that the varsity can enroll candidates based on CLAT 2023 score.
