DU UG Admission 2022: DU CSAS portal launched, last date to apply Oct 3, check important details

Delhi University has launched the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal today; i.e. September 12, for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2022-23. Admission to all the courses will be done through this portal. Delhi University has begun the admission process for 79 programmes, and 206 BA combined courses offered at various colleges affiliated with DU for 70,000 seats.
In order to apply for admission to colleges that are affiliated with the University of Delhi, all the interested candidates can register by visiting the official website; i.e. admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates must note that the registration process on the portal will end on October 3. The first round of seat allocation will likely be released by October 10.
As per the University, 6.14 lakh students have shown interest in DU Admissions 2022. During the portal launch, DU admin advised all candidates to choose maximum courses and college preferences. It must be noted that only those candidates who have appeared for the CUET 2022 examinations will be able to complete the applications through the link available on the CSAS website.
DU CSAS UG 2022 admission will have three phases - submitting the CSAS application form, selecting programmes and filling out preferences, and allocating seats and accepting admission. The CSAS first phase was launched today. In the first phase, they have to submit their application form after filling in their basic details. It must be noted that in the personal details; i.e. name, signature and photograph will get automatically updated through the CUET application form 2022, so it can not be edited. However, they will given the option to edit the other personal details like email id, Father's name, Mother's name, home address etc.
The phase 2 will be opened once the CUET UG score is released. In this candidates will have to select the colleges and programme combination. Candidates must note that they have to confirm the programme-specific CUET-UG merit score for all the selected programmes. Candidates must select the college and programme combination before the deadline ends. Once it is submitted, the preference order cannot be changed. In case the candidate forgets to select the preferences, then whatever preference was last saved by an individual will be saved automatically.
The third phase of DU CSAS, will have multiple rounds of allotment and admission. A candidate will have to check the seat and college allotted to them by visiting the common admission portal. The allotment by DU will be based on a number of factors — combination of college and programmes chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate and availability of seats.
Delhi University has announced that it will begin the first-year classes from November 1.

- Class 12 marksheet
- Class 10 marksheet
- CUET scorecard once available
- Migration/Transfer certificate
- Photographs
- Signature
- Application form print out
- In case of reserved category, certificate for the same
Steps to apply for DU admission 2022
Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to apply for Delhi University Admission 2022:
- Go to the DU CSAS official portal
- Click on the Link provided and complete the application form
- Select the programmes as per the DU CSAS merit list
- Upload all necessary documents and certificates
- Submit the application fee through the different payment methods
- Click on the final submission
Once the DU Applications are submitted, the choice filling process will begin and candidates will be given the options to select the colleges of their preference for admissions. The choice filling will be opened only after the CUET UG 2022 Results are announced.
