IGNOU January Admission 2024: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will close the application window for January admission 2024 today: February 29. Candidates can apply for online/ODL distance courses offered by IGNOU online. Those who are yet to fill up the IGNOU January 2024 admission form can apply at the official website: ignou.ac.in.
Along with the fresh admission window, the IGNOU re-registration process for the January session 2024 without a late fee will also end today. IGNOU has advised the applicants to provide the correct mobile number and e-mail ID as the confirmation and other updates on admission and course will be sent on the same.
Documents Required To Apply for IGNOU Admission 2024 for January Session
Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of these documents while filling out the IGNOU application form:
- Photograph (less than 100 KB)
- Signature (less than 100 KB)
- Experience certificate (less than 200 KB), if any
- Category certificate (less than 200 KB), if needed
How to apply for IGNOU Admission 2024?
Candidates must note that, if they already registered on the portal, then they can just log in by using the username and password. In case of any difficulty in registering on the portal, they should approach the regional centre for re-setting of the account and updating the email ID or mobile number. They can go through the steps to know how to apply for IGNOU January admission 2024:
Step 1: Go to the official website: ignou.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on IGNOU January Admission 2024 link
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen where candidates will get two links: Online and ODL
Step 4: Click on one of it and register by entering all the asked details
Step 5: Now, login and fill up the application form and pay the fees
Step 6: Submit and take a printout of the same for further reference
Candidates have to pay a non-refundable registration fee, along with the program fee for the first semester/year at the time of admission. The fee can be paid using net banking, UPI and credit or debit card.
