Jamia conducts entrance tests for admission to various courses

Admission to only 15 Undergraduate and 5 Postgraduate programmes of the university will be conducted by NTA under CUET.
Jamia Millia Islamia University today conducted entrance tests for admission to various courses. Approximately 3000 students appeared for entrance exams conducted at various centres set up on the JMI campus on day one.
The Entrance tests for admission to various programmes of Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) for the session 2023-24 began today.
Entrance tests for MA Media Governance, MA West Asia Studies, M Sc Chemistry, MSc Biophysics, PG Diploma in Acting, PG Diploma in Still Photography and Diploma in Engineering were conducted successfully today. Nearly 3000 applicants appeared in entrance tests at various centres set up on the university campus.
CUET Admissions 2023
Earlier last month, The university announced that for a majority of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, it will be conducting its own entrance tests followed by interviews if required for the respective programmes.
The university also wrote to the NTA and the UGC stating its inability to fully implement CUET in the upcoming academic session.
Admission to only 15 Undergraduate and 5 Postgraduate programmes of the university will be conducted by NTA under CUET. Admission to all other UG, PG, PG Diploma and Diploma programmes will be conducted by JMI itself.
The application form needs to be submitted on jmicoe.in, the Vice-Chancellor of the university has approved an extension in the last date of registration to BTech, BArch and UG Programmes of the University whose tests will be conducted by CUET for the Academic Session 2023-24 from 05.04.2023 to 20.04.2023β.
