Jamia Millia opens application forms for admission to various Distance and Online Programmes
Admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programmes will be notified later depending upon the UGC-DEB Guidelines.
The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has opened application forms for admissions to various Distance and Online Programmes. These programs are offered in dual mode, which includes both Online and Distance learning options.
The admissions are open for several postgraduate and undergraduate programmes based on merit in the qualifying exams. PG programmes includes: M.A. in Education, English, Geography, Hindi, History, HRM, Islamic Studies, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, Urdu, and M. Com. UG Programmes includes: B.A. (General), BBA, B. Com, and BCIBF.
Admission to MBA Programme is based on entrance test to be held on 15th September 2024.
Admission is also open for the Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance & Counselling, Post Graduate Diploma in Geoinformatics, Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education, Certificate in Computer Hardware and Network Technology, Certificate in Information Technology.
Online Application Forms for Admission are available at www.jmicoe.in from 1st August 2024 onwards.
Last date for submission of Application forms is 31st August, 2024. Verification of documents & payment of fees will start from 17th September, 2024 onwards.
The candidates are required to complete the admission process in all respects latest by 29th September, 2024.
Applicants are advised to read the information given carefully and ensure their eligibility before submission of online admission application form. No application form will be accepted after the last date of its submission.

Aspiring students are required to register on the official website of CUET fill the application form online. In the form, fill all the details asked, upload the required documents and pay the application fee. Starting 2022, for BA, BSc and BVoc, JMI started accepting the scores of CUET UG. For the same, students need to register for the exam, appear for it and qualify it. Qualified students of CUET UG are required to register for JMI counselling after which merit lists will be released with the name of the shortlisted students. For the remaining courses, however, the university is still accepting national and university-level entrance exam for final selection.
Q: How can I take admission to JMI for MBA?
Candidates seeking admission to Jamia Millia Islamia for MBA can apply online on the official website. Admission to this course is offered based on the entrance exam conducted by the university, i.e. JMI Entrance Eest. Interested candidates must have a relevant bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate in the subject concerned. Followed by application filling and before application submission, candidates are also required to pay the application fee which ranges from INR 550 to INR 700. Q: How can I get into JMI for BA or BA (Hons)?
Candidates seeking admission to Jamia Millia Islamia for BA must have passed Class 12 or SSC with a minimum aggregate ranging from 40-50%. The passing percentage is different for different specialisations offered in the BA programme. Admission to Jamia Millia Islamia for BA and BA (Hons) is subject to either CUET (conducted by NTA) or JMI entrance exam. Till 2021, admission was subject to the JMI entrance exam across all specialisations. However, starting 2022, admission to a few BA (Hons) specialisations is CUET-based and for the rest, it is university-level entrance-based. Interested candidates can apply online for all courses on the official website of JMI or CUET.
Q: What is the Jamia Milia Islamia BSc application end date?
Jamia Milia Islamia released its online prospectus on Feb 20. As per its prospectus, the application deadline was Mar 30 for the application form of the test conducted by the university. Moreover, the application form window for editing was opened from Apr 4 to Apr 10.
The JMI application form admission through other exams (JEE/NATA/CUET) was released on Feb 20. Students can submit their application till 10 days after the result declaration by the respective agencies. Additionally, the application window remains open till six days from the last date of application form filling.
