Link student ideas with development goal of nation, PM Modi to educators

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has urged heads of higher education institutions to channelize the youth energy of the country for Viksit Bharat 2024 goal.

“Every youth who comes to your institutions comes with some characteristics or the other. His ideas, no matter how diverse they are, have to be linked to the stream of building a developed India,” PM Modi said.In his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the pivotal role of educational institutions in steering India towards its developmental aspirations. During the launch of the 'Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth' initiative, PM Modi urged heads of higher education institutions to harness the innovative ideas and energy of the nation's youth towards the goal of a developed India.

Highlighting the importance of amalgamating diverse student ideas with the broader vision of a developed nation, PM Modi stressed the significance of linking these ideas to the trajectory of India's progress. He underscored that the roadmap for advancement shouldn't solely be determined by the government but should encompass the collective efforts of the entire nation.

The 'Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth' initiative was inaugurated to provide a platform for young minds to contribute their ideas and suggestions for shaping India's future by 2047. The Prime Minister emphasized the need to channelize the dynamism and diversity of ideas among students towards the common objective of fostering a developed India.

Furthermore, PM Modi unveiled an Ideas Portal dedicated to Viksit Bharat, encouraging participation from citizens. He emphasized the power of individual initiative, noting that just as 'I' stands for India, development begins with the 'I' of the self. He also announced a prize for the top 10 suggestions and invited contributions through the MyGov platform.

PM Modi likened the present time to an "exam date" for every citizen, urging a collective commitment of 24/7 towards the ambitious goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047. He stressed the importance of fostering an environment akin to a familial bond, urging everyone to contribute towards this national endeavor.
