MDNIY organises six days continuing medical education programme to enhance the participants' academic and therapeutic expertise in Yoga across philosophical, scientific, and practical dimensions.

MDNIY

A six-day continuing Healthcare Education program for Ayurvedic teachers, physicians, and scientists is being organized by the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) on its premises from August 19 to 24, 2024. The objective of this medical education program is to enhance each participant's academic and therapeutic understanding of yoga from a philosophical, scientific, and practical perspective. This six-day healthcare education programme aims to renew individuals and improve their academic and therapeutic expertise.

The primary objective of this course is to help participants gain a more thorough comprehension of the basic principles of yoga as well as further develop their knowledge in traditional as well as contemporary scientific frameworks.

The goal of the Ministry's Continued Medical Education (CME) initiative is to give Ayush physicians the evidence-based skills they require to incorporate yoga into their daily practices. This curriculum offers a synthesis combining modern research findings with traditional Yoga concepts. Renowned specialists in the field of yoga research from all around India are invited to share their knowledge.

Proper yoga, modified yoga forms, hands-on instruction, diet and yoga, and the fusion of Ayurveda and yoga are among a few of the subjects that are scheduled to be covered in the CME. Thirty people selected at random from across the nation are offered this opportunity.
