SNU Chennai Admission 2024-25: Shiv Nadar University Chennai has released the application form for admission to undergraduate courses online. Interested candidates can fill up the SNU Chennai application form 2024-25 at the official website: snuchennai.edu.in/admission. For selection, the university conducts the Shiv Nadar University Common Entrance Examination (SNUCEE) 2024 in computer-based offline mode. 

The examination will have two main sections: Aptitude and Domain Knowledge. The SNUCEE is held nationwide, allowing candidates to choose their local centre to appear for the exam. Apart from that, one international exam centre has been located in Dubai. 

Who can apply for Shiv Nadar University Chennai Admission 2024-25? 

The university provides six specialized undergraduate programs encompassing engineering, commerce, and economics. Only those candidates who have completed or appeared for class 12th board examinations are eligible to apply for SNU Chennai. Also, Indian students with 90 percentile and above in JEE MAIN can apply for admissions directly without SNUCEE.

Shiv Nadar University Common Entrance Examination

The SNUCEE will have two main sections: Aptitude and Domain Knowledge. The entrance exam is held for two hours. The SNUCEE will encompass both aptitude (45 minutes) and domain knowledge (75 minutes). Admission to UG courses is based on the Entrance Test (SNUCEE) followed by an interview and is subject to obtaining at least 75% marks in the Board examination. 

Beyond academics, students are given opportunities to participate in knowledge-building activities such as hackathons and other competitions to showcase their skills. In 2023, several teams comprising a large group of students from the university were selected for the government-led- Smart India Hackathon and several other Hackathons.
