IET Lucknow issues important notice for newly admitted BTech, MCA students
The institute notified that individual temporary institute email IDs of all newly admitted first-year students of the 2021-22 session have been generated and advised them to check that account regularly for important information and notices.
The Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Lucknow, has issued an important notification for newly admitted BTech, MCA and MBA students. According to the circular released by the institute, “All newly admitted first-year BTech, MCA and MBA students (admitted till round three) in 2021-22 session are informed that their individual temporary institute email IDs have been generated. The information regrading the temporary institute email account has already been sent to the admitted students’ email ID provided by them during admission in IET. All students are instructed to check this email account regularly as all official information and notices will be sent to this account only.”
Sanjay Srivastava, Dean (Academics) said, “All newly admitted Btech,MCA and MBA first-year students are informed that the institute is organising an induction programme from November 15, 2021, to November 30, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the programme is being held in the online mode. For the smooth functioning of the programme, an individual branch-wise Google classroom has been created. All first-year students are instructed to joined the Google classroom through their institute email ID as soon as possible.”
He said, "After joining the Google classroom, students will be able to see the instructions, schedule, or any other information regarding induction programme on the classroom portal itself."
Students post complaints on Twitter
However, some students have not received any email from the institute regarding the provisional induction and email IDs. They raised their complaints on Twitter. One student wrote, “Sir I have not received any email. I have reported in college( IET LUCKNOW) on 29/10/2021 for Btech course,” while another tweeted, “Can you tell me on which date you received an e-mail.
