Delhi Transport Commissioner Ashish Kundra said the issues of urban mobility will be addressed in partnership with the academia.

The Aam Aadmi Party government here has inked a pact with Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology-Delhi to set up a centre for sustainable mobility, a senior official said on Tuesday.

Delhi Transport Commissioner Ashish Kundra said the issues of urban mobility will be addressed in partnership with the academia.

"Memorandum of understanding signed today with @IIITDelhi to establish a centre for sustainable mobility in partnership with @TransportDelhi @pravesh @kgahlot. Urban mobility problems to be addressed in partnership with academia," he said in a tweet.

IIIT Delhi Placements 2022

IIIT Delhi surpassed its campus recruitment record for its current batch of students. IIIT Delhi Placements 2022 witnessed students bagging job offers from leading national and international tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Qualcomm, American Express, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Adobe, WDC, HRT USA, Crowd pad Dubai, Fast Retailing Japan and Amazon Luxembourg Europe. "During the campus placement the institute hosted 140 companies, among which 108 offered competitive salaries falling between 11 to 47 lakhs while 32 offers were in a range of 6 to 10 lakhs," IIIT Delhi said.

The overall IIIT Delhi placement rate 2022 stood at an impressive 98.10 percent with an average compensation of INR 19.72 lakhs and a median of INR 16.50 lakh.

The highest compensation bagged by IIIT Delhi students for domestic placement was INR 47 lakh per annum and for overseas placement, the highest pay package stood at a whopping INR 1.84 crore and the second highest was INR 54.83 lakh.

The average salary package for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) batch was also an impressive figure of INR 24.34 Lakhs.
