IIIT Hyderabad invites applications for MTech in product design, management

Interested candidates can apply for the IIITH MTech in product design, management programme till May 8, 2022.

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad has invited applications for admissions to its MTech programme in product design and management. Students completing the programme can become product managers and/or entrepreneurs. The programme includes courses around understanding technology products, the convergence of technology, human-centred design, markets and business, product design, development and management and products from emerging technologies (research). 

Selection process 

IIIT Hyderabad’s MTech Product Design and Management programme has multiple channels of admission: GATE, CEED, startups and industry/self-sponsored. Candidates with product development experience will be given preference. Shortlisted candidates will go through an interview process.  

• Early career IT graduates/working professionals: With more than one year of IT experience (experience may be waived in some cases), through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) exams. 
• Startups: Startup founders or professionals with a startup idea or planning to build a startup can join the programme to acquire product design/management knowledge and apply it to their startup idea.  
• Industry/self-sponsored: Mid-level professionals with more than five years of experience, either development managers or architects or product managers, sponsored by their employers.
