IISER Admission Test 2022: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISERs) Admission Test 2022 for admissions to various degree and dual-degree programs offered by IISERs at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati will be held on July 3, 2022. Candidates must note that the IISER Admissions 2022 portal opened on May 4, 2022, and will close on May 29, 2022. IISER Admissions 2022 Changes
The Joint Admissions Committee 2022 has announced a few changes in the marking scheme this year for IISER Admissions 2022. According to the new guidelines, each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks, each incorrect answer will be awarded -0.75 marks and unanswered questions will be awarded 0 marks. IISERs offer courses in various subjects ie Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth & Climate Sciences, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Economic Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Geological Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, etc.
IISER Admissions 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for IISER Admissions 2022 must have completed their Class 12 in science streams in 2021 or 2022 from a recognised board by the Council of Boards of School Education, COBSE. 60% aggregate is a must in Class 12 for General, OBC and OBC NCL candidates. SC, ST, PwD candidates must have secured a minimum of 55 per cent overall.
Candidates who are not Indian Nationals can apply through the IIT JEE Advanced exam. Candidates must have secured a rank within 15 thousand in the common rank list in order to be considered eligible for admissions. Candidates can also apply through the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana, KYPY Fellowship.
