IIT Bombay Exams 2022: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is all set to hold the semester exams in offline mode. The decision to hold the exams in offline mode has been taken considering the decline in COVID-19 cases in the country. It is after two years that IIT Bombay will conduct the exams in offline mode for all undergraduate courses.

IIT Bombay UG Exams 2022: Details

All IIT Bombay UG students, from semester 2 to 4 will now be preparing to write offline exams. This comes at a time when the Institute was already holding exams in hybrid mode and still had the option of online exams for some batches. As per the schedule released by IIT Bombay, these offline exams are usually the final exams for students of all batches. They are expected to begin from April 2022; however, detailed schedules will be released soon.

Until now,  IIT Bombay has been working closely with students and ensuring that all of them return back to campus in a phased manner. So far, students from most courses have resumed offline classes. Those that are left like students from first-year UG, PG courses, are expected to return to the campus soon.

As per the circular released by IIT Bombay, all students who are back to the campus will have to take offline exams. The students will not be allowed to write online exams, however, the option of having pen-and-paper-based papers or in any other mode, stays with professors.

IIT Bombay reports also suggest that the institute is currently doing the renovation work and is preparing in full swing to welcome the students back to campus.
