IIT Bombay to organise Corporate Social Responsibility Conclave on July 6

IIT Bombay's Annual CSR Conclave 2022 for socially conscious corporates and CSR heads will be held tomorrow, July 6 at Victor Menezes Convention Centre (VMCC) - IIT Bombay.

IIT Bombay is all set to organise its Annual CSR Conclave 2022 tomorrow, July 6. The conclave will allow for socially conscious corporates and CSR heads to partner with the IIT Bombay on several pioneering projects to address wide-ranging national and global challenges such as climate change, health sciences, sustainability, advanced manufacturing, and more, and create a tangible societal impact by way of technological innovations and solutions.

IIT Bombay's notification reads, "Attending the conclave will enable corporates to sharpen their CSR strategies and make their outcomes more impactful and measurable, witness the cutting-edge research and infrastructure projects currently underway at the Institute, and interact and collaborate with India’s premier science and engineering institution, globally competitive and recognised researchers and faculty, and some of the brightest minds in the country."

More Details

The welcome address will be by Prof Subhasis Chaudhuri, Director, IIT Bombay at 10:45 am. There will be a presentation on Rural Development through Technology Solutions between 10:45 am - 11:05 am, panel discussions on Climate Change Mitigation through Technology and Innovations between 11:05 am - 11:50 am, and on Clean Energy Solutions between 11:50 am - 12:35 pm.

Post lunch, there will be panel discussions on Healthcare and Biosciences: Key Challenges and Technology Solutions, Circular Economy, Tech Entrepreneurship: Driving India’s Growth and presentations on Challenges in India’s Transition to Electric Mobility and Sustainability Aspects in Chemical and Pharma Manufacturing.

The key themes of the conclave are Education, Healthcare, Rural Development and Agriculture, Sustainability, Skills and Entrepreneurship, Women Empowerment, and Social and Policy Development.
