IIT JAM 2022 First Admission List Released; Check Status at joaps.iitr.ac.in

IIT JAM 2022 first admission list has been released on June 1. Candidates allotted seats in the first round of admission list have to pay the fee by June 6. Know the process to check admission result and other information here. 

IIT Roorkee has released the IIT JAM 2022 first admission list on June 1. Qualified candidates who had applied for the admission or the counselling process of IIT JAM 2022 have to log in to the candidate portal and check their seat allotment status. Selected candidates who wish to take admission in the allotted institute and programme will have to pay the seat booking fee till June 6, 5 pm.

IIT Roorkee stated on the official website, “The first Admission List is finalized. Check Candidate Portal for your status. The last date for Payment of Seat Booking Fee through Online Candidate Portal is June 06, 2022 (5:00 PM). If a candidate fails to deposit Seat Booking Fee within the deadline, the offer will remain cancelled and such candidate will not be considered for further admission process.”

How to Check IIT JAM 2022 First Admission List

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to check whether they have made it to the first admission list of the IIT JAM 2022 or not:

• Visit the candidate portal of IIT JAM 2022 – joaps.iitr.ac.in

• Log in through Enrolment ID/Registration ID/Email ID and password along with the mathematical expression

• Click on Submit tab

• Check your allotment status

What After Checking IIT JAM 2022 Admission Result

Candidates can take the following steps after checking the result:

• Accept and Freeze

• Accept with Upgrade

• Reject and Quit

Candidates selecting the first option need to pay a "Seat Booking Fee" of INR 10,000 if belonging to the General/OBC-NCL/EWS category and INR 5,000 if belonging to SC/ST/PwD category. The admission fee can be paid in online mode using credit card/debit card/net banking. The admission fee will be transferred to the bank account of the allotted college. 

The second admission list for IIT JAM 2022 will be declared on June 16. The counselling process will be conducted in four rounds and will conclude on July 11. IIT JAM 2022 is the gateway for admission to MSc and Integrated PhD programmes offered across IITs, NITs, IISc and CFTIs.
