IITB invites applications for B-model competition Eureka
Registrations for startups are open at ecell.in/eureka. The startups that participate in the competition receive mentoring, funding, incubation, networking, and many other opportunities.
The entrepreneurship cell (E-cell) of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has launched the 25th edition of its flagship business-model competition ‘Eureka!’ with the aim to help startups and people with potential startup ideas become market ready through mentoring, funding, incubation, networking, and many other opportunities.
This year’s edition is expected to have more than 15,000 entries, a cash prize of more than INR 65 lakh and incentives worth INR 50 lakh plus in the form of AWS Credits, and free subscription to services such as Canva, Freshworks, Autodesk etc.
Competition divided into 7 tracks
Registrations for startups are open at ecell.in/eureka. This year, the competition is divided into seven tracks: Yes Bank Business Track, Yes Bank Business Track, QED Investors FinTech Track, Union Bank Social Track, BPCL Energy Track, Komet Web3.0 and Blockchain track, and Westbridge Capital Pan-IIT Track.
The event is being organised in association with Piramal Finance, WebEngage, Arcana, AWS Activate, Chiratae Ventures, Enlightenvc.online, Avaada, Shiru Startup, and We Founder Circle.The finals of of the competition will be held in the E-Summit’23, Asia’s largest business conclave conducted in a span of two days every year. The E-cell of IIT Bombay is a non-profit organisation that conducts several initiatives throughout the year to promote entrepreneurship. Eureka is aimed at accelerating the growth of the most innovative ideas into commercial successes.
