Similarly, an IIT Bombay and an IIT Guwahati student have been offered USD 2.74 lakh per annum (around INR 2.05 crore per annum) from Uber.

Three students received domestic offers ranging between INR 1.30 crore and INR 1.8 crore.

Major recruiters for domestic roles were Microsoft, Qualcomm, Google, Boston Consulting Group, Airbus, Amazon, Apple, APT Portfolio Private Limited, Bajaj Auto Limited, whereas top recruiters for international roles were Uber and Rubrik.
IITs have also received record pre-placement offers (PPOs) this year. IITs in Chennai, Kanpur, Roorkee, Guwahati, Mandi and Jodhpur have already seen a 22-55 per cent increase in PPOs as compared to last year and 2019.
Like last year, placement interviews will be held online. “Many organisations have registered with the placement office with an intent to hire IIT Delhi graduates. There is an increasing registration for profiles related to data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning in addition to traditional profiles,” said a spokesperson at IIT Delhi.
