INI CET 2022 Live updates (January Session): Question paper analysis and student reaction
AIIMS is conducting INI CET 2022 January session today for admission to the PG medical courses at JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru, PGI Chandigarh and eight AIIMS.
All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) conducted the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) 2022 today, on November 14, at 126 designated centres from 9 am to 12 PM.
Question Paper Analysis
The medical entrance exam is for 830 tentative seats in various PG courses including MD (Doctor of Medicine)/MS(Masters of Surgery)/DMMch/MDS (Master of Dental Surgery). The examination is of 3 hours duration, and the paper will include 200 objective type questions. The candidates will be awarded one mark for the right answer and minus 1/3 mark for the wrong answer. The result is expected to be out on November 20.
The examination was conducted following all Covid-19 related guidelines- the candidates had to follow the social distancing, use hand sanitiser, wear a mask at the centre and cooperate with the exam authority.
Following are the examination day instructions:
The students needed to carry the admit card, two recent passport-sized photographs, a copy of the MCI registration certificate, a curfew pass amid the Covid outbreak, valid ID proof which could be Aadhaar Card, Voter Id card, E-Aadhaar card, PAN card and driving license.
The students were not allowed to carry mobile phones or electronic devices like pen drives, calculators and wristwatches, stationery items like writing pads, pens, pencils, erasers, books at the examination centre. Also, they were restricted to wearing any ornaments, headgears, scarfs, goggles, jackets, eatables, water bottles, soft drinks, bags, pouches, caps, belts, wallets etc.
Student Reaction
According to the INI CET 2022 candidates, the exam was of moderate difficulty level. The question types were similar to that of the previous session, which is, majority of the questions were clinical based. A few candidates found image-based questions difficult to answer. Candidates didn’t face any technical issues while appearing for the exam. The exam was conducted with extra precautionary measures amid COVID-19 at the centres. A large number of questions were asked from Dermatology and Forensic while very few questions were from Ophthalmology, OBGYN & PSM last time.

9 am: INI CET 2022 examination started.
8:30 am: Candidates are entering the INI CET 2022 examination centres.
8:15 am: Candidates started gathering at the examination centres.
