The update has been confirmed by CISCE via an official notice stating that students are allowed to use calculators during ISC Sem-1 exams.
CISCE ISC Term 1 Exam 2021-22: Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has allowed Class 12 students to use scientific calculators and other similar calculators during ISC Term-1 Examination 2021. The latest development has come out as a major relief for Class 12 students appearing for ISC Semester 1 Exam 2021-22. According to ISC exam dates, CISCE commenced ISC 12th (Sem 1) Exam on November 22, 2021.
The update has been confirmed by CISCE via an official notice stating that students are allowed to use calculators during ISC Sem-1 exams. The notice reads βThis is to inform that the candidates are permitted to use Casio fx - 82 MS (Scientific Calculator) or calculators of other marks with similar functions.β The order has been issued to all heads of schools to permit the students to use calculators during the ISC semester 1 exam 2021-22.
While ISC exams have already commenced, CISCE will begin the ICSE term-1 exam 2021 from November 29, 2021. Students must note that as the exams are being conducted offline, wearing masks, carrying sanitizers and following social distancing norms inside the examination hall and during examination is a must. Students are advised to carry all necessary documents such as admit card, school ID, and other important documents. Moreover, candidates are also advised to reach the exam centre 30 minutes prior to avoid last-minute hassles.
