NIMCET 2024: The National Institutes of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur has already announced the result date for NIMCET. As per the schedule, the NIMCET 2024 result will be declared on June 25, 2024. Candidates have to visit the official website: nimcet.in to check the NIMCET result 2024. They have to use their user ID and password to check the NIMCET result.

 A total of 805 MCA seats will be filled based on the NIMCET result 2024 across participating NITs. Those qualifying through the NIMCET 2024 result will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. This year, the NIMCET exam was conducted on June 8, 2024, between 2 to 4 PM.

NIMCET Result 2024 Qualifying Criteria

Candidates will be selected as per the prescribed NIMCET 2024 qualifying criteria. They can check below to know about the qualification criteria of NIMCET 2024:

• The marks secured by the candidates in each subject of the question paper will be multiplied to make a maximum of 1000 marks.
  • Mathematics by a factor of 3
  • Computer Awareness by a factor of 2
  • Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning by a factor of 1.5.
  • English by a factor of 1
• Candidates securing higher rank as per the maximum marks will be ranked higher
• Tie-Breaking Factors - In case if two or more candidates get the same marks, it will be resolved by following the rules,
  • Candidates securing higher marks in Mathematics will be ranked higher
  • If a still tie exists, the one with high marks in logical reasoning will be ranked higher
  • If there is a tie again, the candidate who secured higher marks in computer awareness will be ranked higher
  • If the tie still persists, then the candidate elder in age will be given preference
• Candidates who have secured zero or negative marks in Mathematics or overall will be disqualified from NIMCET 2024 admissions

• A login window will appear on the screen
• Enter the user ID and password
