JEE Main 2022 Students Speak: No clarity on boards, JEE dates effecting preparation for both

It is expected that NTA will announce the JEE Main 2022 exam dates by the last week of January or February first week. Registration will begin soon after the announcement of seats.

The announcement of JEE Mains 2022 exam dates is still awaited by students. The delay in the declaration of exam dates is leading students to confusion in the preparation of their boards and JEE Main exam.

With no clarity on dates, students who are studying in class 12 and also preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2022 are not able to decide whether they should prepare first for the board exams or JEE Main.

Anjali Gupta, JEE 2022 aspirant studying in class 12 says, “Dates have not been announced for board exams as well as JEE Main 2022. I am not able to decide whether I should focus on my board exams preparation or for JEE. It would have been a lot easier to make a timetable and strategy for preparation had the dates would have been announced.”

Rohan Rajput, a JEE Main 2022 repeater student says “I appeared in JEE Main 2021 but did not score well as my preparation did not go well due to COVID. I am scared the same would happen this year as NTA has not still announced the exam dates and I am not able to prepare for it effectively.

Praveen Kumar, a Mathematics faculty teaching JEE aspirants for the last 15 years says, “knowing the dates is very important in the preparation of exams like JEE Mains. When students know the exam date, they make a timetable and study accordingly. Since students don’t know when JEE Main 2022 exam will be held, it can create anxiety and confusion among students which could result in underrated performance.”

JEE Main 2022 Exam Date

The first session of JEE Main which is usually held in February will now certainly be postponed to March as the registration process is not yet started. National Testing Agency has not released any official statement regarding the exam dates. Also, no official notice has been put by the Education Ministry or NTA as to when will JEE Main 2022 exams be held. However, the assembly elections in five states and the COVID-19 situation is being considered the reason affecting the delay in the conduct of JEE Main 2022.

NTA has not announced JEE Main 2022 registration date. It is expected that JEE Main 2022 application form will be released by the last week of January or February first week. Application forms will be available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
