Know JEE Main 2022 cutoff ranks for JEE Advanced and admission in top NITs, IIITs.

National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main 2022 result for the session 1 exam. As per the result statistics shared by the NTA, 14 students have secured a perfect 100 percentile score by obtaining the full 300 marks in the exam. A total of 7,69,589 students have appeared in the session 1 exam against a total registration of 872432. The session 1 exam was held from June 23 to 29.

JEE Main 2022 qualifying marks for JEE Advanced have been announced by the experts. The official JEE Main cutoff 2022 will be announced by the NTA along with the session 2 result. The JEE Main 2022 qualifying marks for JEE Advanced will be decided based on candidates performance in both sessions.

Qualifying Criteria for JEE Advanced 2022

As per the criteria defined by the NTA to qualify for JEE Advanced 2022 exam, candidates need to have a position among the top 2,50,000 in the Common Rank List. Only the top 2,50,000 students which will include candidates from all categories, reserved and unreserved will qualify to appear in JEE Advanced 2022 exam. The list of top candidates will be determined on the basis of JEE Main 2022 cutoff score.

Should you appear in JEE Main 2022 Session 2 Exam?

As per the coaching and admission counselling experts, students who have obtained above 95 percentile scores have a fair chance of getting admission to top NITs and IIITs in various branches and thus they can skip the session 2 exam to focus on JEE Advanced 2022.

However, candidates who secured below 95 percentile can appear in the session 2 exam to improve their score and increase their chance of getting admission to a top college and qualify for JEE Advanced 2022.

How Many Marks Required for Admission to top NITs, IIITs

Admission to NITs and IIITs is through counselling organised by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority. Admission is given on the basis of All India Ranks in the JEE Main exam. Check the percentile scores required for admission to top NITs and IIITs.
