JoSAA 2022 Counselling: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will commence registration for JoSAA Counselling 2022 today, September 12, 2022. JoSAA 2022 registration link can be accessed online on the official website of the conducting authority at josaa.nic.in. Candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria can complete the JoSAA 2022 Counselling registration and choice filling latest by September 21, 2022.

JoSAA counselling 2022 counding authority has already announced the dates related to the counselling events. Through JoSAA 2022 Counselling, candidates will be granted admission to various BTech programmes at 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, IIEST Shibpur and 33 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). JoSAA 2022 Counselling Registration Eligibility

To apply for the JoSAA 2022 counselling, candidates need to fulfil the given criteria:

• Candidates who qualify for JEE Main 2022 can apply to appear for the JoSAA 2022 seat allocation round
• Candidates who qualify for JEE Advanced 2022 will also be considered eligible to appear for JoSAA 2022 counselling. Such candidates will also be eligible for admission to IITs.
• Candidates need to secure 75% in Class 12 class or must be in the top 20 percentile. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the qualifying percentage is 65%. (For admission into IITs).

How to register for JoSAA 2022 Counselling?

The candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps to complete JoSAA counselling 2022 registration and choice filling:

Step-1: Visit the official website of conducting authority at josaa.nic.in.

Step-2: Search for the link that reads "JoSAA Counselling Registration" and click on it.

Step-3: A new window will appear on the screen, candidates need to enter their JEE Main 2022/JEE Advanced 2022 application number and password and click on the submit option given there.

Step-4: Upon submission of the details, a new window will appear on the screen that will comprise all the details of the candidate (as provided in JEE Main/JEE Advanced). Candidates need to cross-check all the details carefully and then they can change their passwords. However, the candidates must note that they will only be allowed to change their contact detail in this step. After verifying the detail, the applicants need to click on the "Submit" button.

Step-5: After completing the registration, candidates can now check the available choices of engineering streams and institutions (based on their rank). As per the availability of seats and institutes, applicants must choose the BTech programmes and institutes in order of their preferences.

Step-6: In the end, the candidates must lock their choices as it is an important step in the process of the JoSAA 2022 seat allotment process.
