JoSAA 2022 registration ends today, apply on josaa.nic.in.
Candidates are required to complete their JoSAA registration 2022 and choice filling by 5 pm today.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) counselling 2022 online registration process for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and other government-funded technical institutions will conclude today. Candidates will have to complete their JoSAA registration 2022 and choice filling by 5 pm today at josaa.nic.in.
K Umamaheshwar Rao, NIT Rourkela Director and Chairman of the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) 2022, made the announcement of the closing date of online registration process. Mukesh Gupta, chairperson, local organising committee, CSAB-2022, said, “Our multi-lingual help desk (09124121003) is available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bangla, Marathi, Odia, Hindi, and English to assist the candidates at all steps of registration and seat allocation. In addition, 44 help centers are available in various states. Once the registration is closed, the date will not be extended for further acceptance of any more registration.”
The registration for CSAB-special rounds to fill the vacant seats, if any, will begin on October 24 after the completion of JoSAA rounds. The counselling process is expected to be completed by November 6.
Interested candidates can follow the below instructions to participate in JoSAA-2022 counselling
- Visit the JoSAA official website https://josaa.nic.in. Alternatively, visit CSAB official website https://csab.nic.in to log on to JoSAA.
- On the homepage, login using JEE (Main) application number and password.
- Complete the choice-filling section.
- Review and lock the filled-in choices as per the schedule.

Candidates seeking admission to IITs, NITs and other government-funded technical institutions must attend JoSAA counselling. However, for admission to IITs, only those who have qualified JEE Advanced are eligible. JoSAA first seat allotment result will be declared on September 23, while JoSAA second seat allotment list will be released on September 28 and the third list on October 3. The sixth and final seat allotment list will be published by October 16.
