Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the instructions and schedule for Karnataka PGCET second and final round counselling. The Karnataka PGCET 2021 counselling dates for the second and final round are available on its official website, kea.kar.nic.in
As per the official counselling notification, the Karnataka PGCET 2021 candidates have to exercise fresh options in this round. KEA will release the seat matrix before 1 PM on February 4. The seat matrix would include the seats cancelled, forfeited, choice 3 allotted seats, choice 4 allotted seats, or any seats that have been newly added.
Candidates have the option to add/delete/modify/re-order their choices from February 4th (4 PM onwards), until February 7th (up to 6 PM). Based on the choice entry, KEA will release the second round seat allotment results on February 8.
Choice 2 candidates from Karnataka PGCET 2022 first-round seat allotment and are participating in the second and final round as well are being advised to exercise the options carefully. Such candidates who are holding the seat and get an allotment as per the options exercised will lead them to get the allotment as per the second round. Thus, such candidates must only add better options during the option entry process. Candidates can retain the seat allotted in the first round if no seat is allotted in the current round.
Candidates who are allotted a seat in the second and final round of Karnataka PGCET counselling will be allowed to pay the fees and download the admission orders between February 9 and February 11. The payment of fees can only be done within banking hours. Candidates allotted seats under the choice 2 category in the first round of Karnataka PGCET seat allotment will get the fee adjusted against the accepted offer.
Allotted candidates need to report to the college until 4:30 PM on February 12 with all relevant documents. This will be the last round of Karnataka PGCET 2021 counselling, KEA will not entertain any requests for further counselling rounds.
