The Bar Council of India (BCI) announced the revised AIBE 18 Dates considering that it was clashing with the exam dates of the Common Law Admission Test - PG (CLAT 2024). However, it is now clashing with two major law entrance exams. The Delhi Judicial Services Prelims exam and AILET LLM Exam 2024 is scheduled for 10th December 2023.
AIBE Exam 2023: The All India Bar Examination XVIII (AIBE 18) Schedule has been revised one more time. The AIBE 18 Exam 2023 will now be held on December 10, 2023. The Bar Council of India (BCI) announced the revised AIBE 18 Dates considering that it was clashing with the exam dates of the Common Law Admission Test - PG (CLAT 2024). However, it is now clashing with two major law entrance exams. The Delhi Judicial Services Prelims exam and AILET LLM Exam 2024 is scheduled for 10th December 2023.
Candidates are now requesting the BCI to extend the AIBE Exam Date 2023. The AIBE 18 was earlier scheduled to be held on December 3, the same day as CLAT PG 2024. The Council in an official notification said that, “The Bar Council of India would like to announce the rescheduling of the All India Bar Exam (AIBE), XVIII originally scheduled for December 3, 2023. The decision to reschedule the AIBE has been taken due to an clash with the CLAT PO exam and MP State Judicial PT which are also slated for the same day.”
The AIBE 18 Registration 2023 date has also been revised. Candidates can now fill out their AIBE 18 Application Form 2023 until November 16. Earlier, the last date to register for AIBE 18 Exam 2023 was November 10, 2023. Candidates can correct the AIBE 18 Application Form 2023 until November 19. The AIBE 18 (XVIII) registration form 2023 is available on the official website at allindiabarexamination.com.
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for AIBE 18 (XVIII) Exam 2024:
- A graduate degree in law (3-year LLB and 5-year LLB) from a university recognised by the Bar Council of India
- There is no age limit for appearing in the AIBE exam 2024
- Law graduates should have a valid enrollment certificate. They are required to qualify for the AIBE exam within two years of enrollment at any of the state bar councils
