AIBE 18 Exam 2023: The Bar Council of India (BCI) is likely to commence the registration process for AIBE 18 Exam, i.e. for (the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 18 exam) from August 1. According to a source, "The registration process for All India Bar Council Examination (AIBE) XVIII can start from next month i.e. from 1st August. After which the candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website allindiabarexamination.com. The steps of the application will be given on the official website. In such a situation, the candidates appearing in the Bar Counseling of India examination are advised to keep an eye on the official website so that no important information is missed."
However, BCI is yet to release an official AIBE 18 (XVIII) exam date 2023 soon. Candidates awaiting to register for AIBE 18 must note that the AIBE 18 (XVIII) registration form 2023 will be released on the official website, i.e. allindiabarexamination.com.
AIBE 18 (XVIII) exam eligibility criteria 2023-24
Candidates willing to register for AIBE 18 (XVIII) must go through eligibility criteria mentioned below:
- Candidates applying to appear for AIBE 18 exam must go through the following eligibility criteria listed below:
- Applicants must have a graduate degree in law (3-year LLB and 5-year LLB) from a university recognised by the Bar Council of India.
- There is no age limit for appearing in the AIBE exam 2023.
- Law graduates must have a valid enrollment certificate. They are required to qualify the AIBE exam within two years of enrollment at any of the state bar councils.
AIBE 18 Registration 2023: Important details to be filled
The AIBE 18 registration process 2023 will include filling up of the application form, uploading of documents, and payment of the application fee. After the completion of the registration process, BCI will release the AIBE 18 exam admit card and important instructions for candidates on the official website. Candidates would require to fill the following details in the AIBE 18 registration form:
- Personal details
- Academic qualification details
- State Bar Council Enrollment details
- Preferred test cities for taking AIBE exam
- Preferred test medium from 22 vernacular languages
Bar Council of India conducts the AIBE exam in an offline mode in 50 cities across the country. Applicants will be able to choose three exam centre as per their choice. AIBE 18 question paper 2023 will include 100 multiple-choice questions. AIBE 18 syllabus 2023-24 will be prescribed by BCI. The exam will be held for law graduates to get the Certificate of Practice (CoP) to practice law.
BCI declared AIBE 17 results 2023 on April 28. AIBE 17 results were withheld for the candidates who appeared in Rajkot exam centres over use of unfair means.
