AIBE 18 (XVIII) registration process 2024 is all set to commence today, August 16, 2023, at the official website - allindiabarexamination.com. AIBE 18 (XVIII) exam is all set to be held on October 29, 2023.
The Bar Council of India (BCI) will start the registration process and payments through online mode for AIBE 18 (XVIII) exam today. The exam is to be held on October 29, 2023.
As per the official notification, the online registration and payment will close on September 30, 2023. The last date of correction/editing in the application form is October 10, 2023. Period of online release of admit cards for candidates is scheduled on October 20, 2023.
The passing percentage is fixed at 45% for GEN/OBC candidates and at 40% for SC/ST and disabled candidates. The exam will be conducted in offline mode for issuing the Certificates of Practice (CoP) to lawyers.
AIBE 18 (XVIII) 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for AIBE 18 (XVIII) Exam 2024, the candidates must check the eligibility criteria which include the following:
- Graduate degree in law (3-year LLB and 5-year LLB) from a university recognised by the Bar Council of India
- There is no age limit for appearing in the AIBE exam 2024
- The law graduates should have a valid enrollment certificate. They are required to qualify for the AIBE exam within two years of enrollment at any of the state bar councils.
All the eligible candidates must register and submit the application form for AIBE 18 Exam 2023-24 by visiting the official website. The AIBE XVIIII (18) 2023-24 registration fee is INR 3,500 for GEN/OBC category, Gen-PwD/OBC-PwD, and EWS/Women and INR 2,500 for SC/ST, SC-PwD/ST-PwD. The candidates can register with their State Bar Council enrollment number, date of birth and email ID.
The candidates are required to fill following details in their application form for AIBE XVIII - personal details, academic qualification details, State Bar Council Enrollment details, preferred test cities for taking AIBE exam, and preferred test medium from 22 vernacular languages.
