The National Law University of Delhi has announced the date of the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) - 2023, the exam will be conducted on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm.

National Law University of Delhi (NLUD) has notified that the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2023 is scheduled for December 11, 2022, from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at an all-India level. The online application forms will be available from September 7 onwards at the official website of NLUD - https://nationallawuniversitydelhi.in/.

AILET 2023 is for admission to BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD programmes for the academic session 2023-24.

About AILET 2023

The entrance examination is conducted every year for a duration of one hour and 30 minutes. For the first time, it is being conducted in December. The exam will be held in offline mode for a total of 110 BA LLB (Hons.) seats, 70 LLM seats, and 18 PhD seats. Eligibility for BA LLB (Hons) - the candidates must have passed the Class 12 examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities) and candidates appearing for their 10+2 exam may also apply. For LLM - the requirement is LLB or equivalent degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/Persons with Disabilities) and the candidates appearing for their final year LLB examination are also eligible to apply, for PhD courses, one should have completed LL.M. or an equivalent law degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities). 

The AILET admission process 2023 includes online registration which will begin on September 7, issuing of AILET admit cards to the candidates who will register successfully for AILET 2023, the AILET exam, results and counselling that NLUD conducts on the basis of the rank list released at the time of result. In the counselling session, qualifying candidates are allotted seats in their respective law courses based on merit.
