    Is AILET tougher than CLAT?

Yes, AILET is usually harder than CLAT because there is five times greater competition for the few places in B.A., LL.B., and LL.M. degrees at NLU Delhi. Furthermore, AILET's exam pattern differs from CLAT's. AILET, which is conducted by NLU Delhi, too has higher cutoff scores. CLAT cutoff marks vary from year to year, although they are moderate given the 23 participating National Law Universities. As a result, candidates might infer that AILET is more difficult than the CLAT exam.

How to prepare for AILET 2025?

Preparing for the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) requires a structured approach since it’s a highly competitive exam for admission to National Law University (NLU) Delhi. Use the following tips to prepare for the exam:

    1. Understand the Exam Pattern and Syllabus

    • Exam Pattern: AILET typically consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering General Knowledge, English, Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics.
    • Syllabus: Get a detailed syllabus from the official AILET website or university announcements. This will guide your study plan.

    2. Create a Study Plan

    • Time Management: Allocate specific times each day for studying different sections. Balance between subjects based on your strengths and weaknesses.
    • Daily Routine: Include a mix of reading, practice, and revision in your daily study schedule.

    3. Study Material and Resources

    • Books: Use standard reference books and guides. For example, "Legal Awareness and Legal Reasoning" by AP Bhardwaj, "Objective General English" by RS Aggarwal, and "Quantitative Aptitude" by RS Aggarwal.
    • Online Resources: Utilize online mock tests, quizzes, and practice papers. Websites like LegalEdge, CLATPrep, and Unacademy offer useful resources.

    4. Practice Regularly

    • Mock Tests: Take regular mock tests to simulate the exam environment and assess your preparation level. Analyze your performance to identify areas for improvement.
    • Previous Papers: Solve past years’ question papers to get a feel for the types of questions and the exam format.
