APLAWCET application open 2020

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has released the application forms for the five-year LLB, three-year LLB and LLM courses through AP LAWCET 2020 and AP PGLCET 2020. The application process has begun in online mode on apsche.gov.in. Moreover, APSCHE has also released a mobile app – myCET for candidates to check their submitted application form, hall ticket information, mock test and exam related information. However, the application forms can be filled and submitted in online mode on the official website.

Eligibility Criteria for AP LAWCET 2020 and PGLCET 2020:

Candidates applying for the five-year integrated LLB course, three-year LLB course and LLM course should fulfil the eligibility criteria for their respective course as under:

Eligibility Criteria by APSCHE

Five-year LLB courses including BA LLB (Hons.) BBA LLB (Hons.), BCom LLB (Hons.), BSc LLB(Hons.), and BTech LLB

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared in Class 12th or equivalent examination
  • They should have secured at least 45% marks if belonging to general category, 42% marks if belonging to OBC category and 40% if belonging to SC/ ST category
  • The candidates appeared or appearing in the qualifying examination should provide the proofs at the time of seat allotment

Three-year LLB or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) course

  • Candidates should have completed a bachelor or master’s degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks 
  • However, candidates belonging to Backward Classes should secure at least 42% marks and for SC/ ST category candidates, the qualifying marks are 40%.

Two-year or one-year Master of Law (LLM) course

  • Candidates should have completed a bachelor degree in law of three years or five years duration from a recognised college or university
  • They should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate, however, candidates SC/ST category should have at least 45% marks.

How to apply for AP LAWCET and PGLCET 2020?

Candidates can fill and submit the application form of AP LAWCET 2020 and AP PGLCET 2020 as under:

  1. Fee Payment – The first step is to pay the application fee using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking options. Candidates have to pay the application fee according to their course.
  2. Know the Payment Status – After the fee is paid a registration number/ id will be generated and payment status will be shared.
  3. Fill Application – After this, candidates have to fill the application form with personal, academic qualifications, caste, religion, domicile as well as test centres selection details.
  4. Print Application Form – Once the application form is filled with all the steps, candidates have to submit it in online mode only. They need not send any application or fee receipt to the exam authority. However, they should save and get printouts of the application form and fee receipt for future references.
