BHU CUET 2022 Update: To be held from July 15 to August 10, Registration and correction window to reopen for 48 hours

The National Testing Agency has announced the exam dates for Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022, which the Banaras Hindu University is accepting for admissions to its undergraduate this year. The entrance exam, BHU CUET 2022 will be held from July 15 to August 10 i.e. on several days for different courses. The exact schedule of BHU CUET 2022 mentioning shift timings will be available soon. 

The exam authority will also reopen the application window for BHU CUET 2022 for new registration, as well as for application correction by candidates who have already submitted their forms before the last date - May 22. The online application window will be available from 9 am onwards on June 23, and candidates will be able to apply and submit their forms before 11:50 pm on June 24. Applicants of CUET 2022 can correct their forms during the same schedule. 

The notification released by NTA stated, “National Testing Agency will be conducting Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG) - 2022] at different centres located in 554 cities across India and 13 Cities Outside-India. 

As of now 9,50,804 Candidates have registered for admission into 86 Universities out of which there are 43 Central Universities, 13 State Universities, 12 Deemed Universities and 18 Private Universities. The Candidates can take the test in any of the 13 mediums being offered, select any combination out of 33 languages and 27 unique subjects. One Candidate has applied to more than 5 Universities, on an average, and there are more than 54,000 unique combinations of subjects chosen by various Candidates. 

Accordingly, the CUET (UG) will be conducted on 15.07.2022, 16.07.2022, 19.07.2022, 20.07.2022 and 04.08.2022, 05.08.2022, 06.08.2022, 07.08.2022, 08.08.2022, 10.08.2022 in CBT mode. 

Since, it is the only exam for entry into the Central University System (UG Courses), the Registration is once again being opened for one last time on the demand of the Candidates. All the candidates who are interested in applying for the said Examination are advised to visit the website (https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/) and complete the application process.

Candidates who have applied for CUET 2022 need not apply for the Banaras Hindu University separately. They can select the subjects for CUET 2022 according to the course of admission. Aligarh Muslim University is also accepting CUET 2022 but it will also be conducting its own entrance exam for admission to undergraduate courses. However, unlike AMU, BHU will not be conducting UET this year.
