The online registration process for BHU Undergraduate courses through CUET 2022 has been extended till May 22. Check details of BHU courses, mapped subjects, and eligibility. 

The application process of CUET 2022 has been extended until May 22. Candidates seeking admissions to undergraduate courses offered at the Banaras Hindu University can now apply till 5 pm on May 22 at CUET website - cuet.samarth.ac.in. The reason for extension in the CUET 2022 applications is modification in offered courses and their eligibility criteria by the participating universities. Therefore, candidates who have already applied can edit their โ€˜testโ€™ and also select more universities from the list. The application correction window will open from May 25 to 31, 2022. 

Candidates filling up the CUET application form 2022 for BHU admissions must check the revised eligibility criteria and mapped subjects for their selected course carefully. 

Here are the list of BHU Undergraduate courses offered through CUET 2022 and their revised criteria:

BA (Hons.) Social Sciences, BA (Hons.) Arts, B.Voc in Catering Technology & Hotel Management, B.Voc in Tourism & Hospitality Management, B.Voc in Banking, Insurance & Retailing

Section I A โ€“ Language Test - (Hindi or English) and Section III โ€“ General Test for the admission in BHU. Candidates who will not appear in both the Sections, i.e. Section IA (English/Hindi Test) and Section III (General Test), will not be considered for admission in BHU.

Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% marks, and Mathematics should be one of the main subjects in the qualifying exam. 

Age should not be more than 22 years on July 1, 2022.



BA Shashtri (Hons.)

Candidates must select Sanskrit in Section II of CUET application form for admission in BHU. Candidates who will not appear Section II Sanskrit, will not be considered for admission in BHU.

Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% marks, and Mathematics should be one of the main subjects in the qualifying exam. 

Age should not be more than 22 years on July 1, 2022.

Those who have qualified MADHYAMA Examination of BHU/Madhyama/Uttar Madhyama/Upa Shastri/Intermediate or one year certificate course in Sanskrit of BHU are also eligible 

BA LLB (Hons.)

Section I-A Language Test - (Hindi or English), and Section II Legal Studies and Section III General Test for the admission in BHU.

Candidates who have completed class 12 or equivalent or 11+1, โ€œAโ€ level in Senior School Leaving Certificate course from a national or state recognised school or university. 

Those who have completed class 12 from open examination system are not eligible for BHU BA LLB admission 

No age limit for admission to BA LLB course

B.Voc in Hospital Administration & Management, B.Voc in Medical Lab Technology 

Section I A :Language Test (English or Hindi); Section II : Biology/Biological Studies and Biotechnology and Section III : General Test 

Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Science subjects

Those who have qualified level 4 of NSFQ are also eligible 

Age should not be more than 22 years on July 1, 2022.

B.Voc in Agribusiness & Entrepreneurship, B.Voc in Food Processing & Management  

Section I A: Language Test (English or Hindi); Section II : Biology and Agriculture Section III: General Test for the admission in BHU. 

Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Science subjects

Those who have qualified level 4 of NSFQ are also eligible 

Age should not be more than 22 years on July 1, 2022.

B.Voc in Computer Applications 

Section I A : Language Test (English or Hindi); Section II : (Computer Science / Informatics Practices) OR (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) for the admission in BHU. 

Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Science subjects Physics, Maths plus any one of the following: Chemistry, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology

Those who have qualified level 4 of NSFQ are also eligible 

Age should not be more than 22 years on July 1, 2022.

B.Voc in Retail & Logistics Management, B.Voc (Fashion Technology & Apparel Designing), B.Voc (Modern Office Management)

Section I A : Language Test (English or Hindi); and Section III General Test for the admission in BHU. 

Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% marks in any stream

Those who have qualified level 4 of NSFQ are also eligible 

Age should not be more than 22 years on July 1, 2022.

BFA 

Section II : Fine Arts/Visual Arts for the admission in BHU. 

Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% marks in any stream

Those who have qualified level 4 of NSFQ are also eligible 

Age should not be more than 22 years on July 1, 2022.

BPA in Classical Vocal, Tabla, Flute, Dance Kathak/ Bharatnatyam, Sitar, Violin

Section II: Non-Percussion/ relevant subject for admission to BPA courses offered at BHU.

Passed 10+2 or equivalent exam Or Graduate / PG Degree and Vocal Music (Hindustani. Dhupad) / Instrumental Music (Sitar / Violin / Flute / Tabla &Mridangam) / Dance (Kathak / Bharatnatyam) as one of the subjects in any of the above courses and candidate must pass in this subject also OR Passed Three Year Diploma in Vocal Music (Hindustani. Dhupad) / Instrumental Music (Sitar / Violin / Flute / Tabla& Mridangam) / Dance (Kathak / Bharatnatyam) of BHU or equivalent exam. OR Passed any of the exams for Vocal / Instrumental / Dance โ€“ Senior Diploma Exam of the Prayag Sangeet Samity, Allahabad / Madhyama Exam of the Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow / Madhyama in Music Exam of  Madhya Pradesh Govt., M.P / Madhyama Exam of ABGMV Mandal, Mumbai / Madhyama Exam of Indira Kala SangeetVishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, Bhushan of Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh. For Dance Only โ€“ Passed Part Time Diploma Exam of Five Years of Kalashetra, Chennai / Senior Course issued under the auspices of Tamil Nadu Govt. / Five-Year Diploma of BhartiyaNrityaMandir, Patna, Bhushan of Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh / Examination of 6 Years Sangeet Kala Vid (Diploma) of Raja Man Singh Tomar University, Gwalior / Examination of 3 Years Diploma (Pass) of Kathak Kendra, National Institute of Kathak Dance, New Delhi.
