CJI DY Chandrchud graced 19th Annual Convocation of NALSAR on Feb 25

The 19th Annual Convocation of the NALSAR university was concluded on February 25, 2023. The event was graced by the Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, who also delivered the Silver Jubilee Lecture-cum-Convocation Address, read here for more details.

NALSAR University of Law organised its 19th Annual Convocation on February 25, 2023.

"The XIX Annual Convocation of the University was concluded on 25th February, 2023. Hon'ble Dr. Justice D.Y. Chandrachud graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, and delivered the Silver Jubilee Lecture-cum-Convocation Address," tweeted NALSAR.

"Hon'ble Mr. Justice V. Ramasubramanian and Hon'ble Mr. Justice P.S. Narasimha (Supreme Court of India) were the Guests of Honour. Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ujjal Bhuyan (Chief Justice of the High Court of Telangana and Chancellor of the University) presided over the ceremony," said another tweet by the university.

"Right from the moment I entered the campus I could sense a feeling of joy.. I hope this joy is not just about the graduation but combined achievement of your classmates," said Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, as reported by Bar and Bench.

"years ago I too sat during my graduation ceremony... it is expected that visiting speaker shares words of wisdom with graduating students.. but i believe i belong to a radical school of thought where wisdom is gathered during journey in law school," he added.

"When we think of university we think of teachers and students but the university also runs due to the labour and support staff. we must also acknowledge their labour for a university which is to celebrate 25 years of existence," he further added.
