The AILET 2023 exam is over, and the spotlight now moves to CLAT 2023, which is scheduled to be held on December 18, 2023. Get last week's preparation tips here.

The Consortium of NLUs will conduct the CLAT 2023 exam in pen-and-paper mode on December 18, 2022. Given that there is less than a week left for the exam, the candidate doesn’t have that much time left. That being said, the importance of these last few days can’t be downplayed at all, as with proper strategy and the right effort one can not only keep the momentum going but add that extra push to score those additional marks.

CLAT 2023 preparation strategy for last week

  • Have a proper strategy in place - Now is not the time to go all over the place, and do anything that comes to your mind. It is because it will block your mind and confuse you. So, jot down what you are doing to do in the remaining time. For instance, topics you are going to revise, problems you are going to solve and how many, how many mocks, when to take breaks, and so on.
  • Don’t follow any new resources at this point in time - You simply don’t have the time and luxury to try out new study material at this moment. Because, it will not only eat into your precious time as you try to understand the new lingos, ways of explaining a concept, and trying to find out which concept is on which page, etc. Rather stick to your existing study material; but revise them well.
  • Revise, revise, revise - Revision is the key; the more you revise the more confident you will get, and for longer will the concept stick with you.
  • Analyze the mocks - The mocks are not simply a tool to practice, but rather also a tool to analyze your performance. For instance, areas you are getting stuck, common mistakes, time management skill development, etc. If you score badly in one mock, don’t take it to heart and go into depression though! Stay positive and upbeat. That is the key.
  • Improve from your mistakes - Make a list of mistakes you are making when taking the mocks; next, try to figure out a way to address these mistakes.
  • Don’t mindlessly solve each and every problem given in the sample paper - Because it is not a race to solve as many problems as you can. Rather, focus on finetuning your problem-solving skills by solving select problems.
