Candidates seeking admission to 5-year integrated B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. programmes in AY 2023-24 must know that CLAT 2023 will be conducted only once on December 18, 2022.
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has said that the admissions to 5-year integrated B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. programmes that are to commence in the academic year 2023-2024 at the 22 participating NLUs shall be only through the CLAT 2023 to be held on December 18, 2022.
CLAT 2023 will be conducted only once as every year the CLAT exam is conducted only once for admission to each academic session. No additional, second, or any other CLAT examination shall be conducted for admissions in programmes commencing in the academic year 2023-2024.
All the candidates seeking admission to the academic year 2023-2024 must register for the exam by November 13, 2022.
Also, the Consortium clarified that the candidates who were unsuccessful in securing admissions to their preferred institution through CLAT 2022, held in June 2022, are eligible to reappear for CLAT 2023 after completing a fresh registration. Candidates appearing for XII examinations in May 2023 are also eligible to apply for CLAT 2023.
If the candidates have any queries regarding CLAT 2023, they may write to clat@consortiumofnlus.ac.in or call on 08047162020.
Tomorrow, November 5, the Consortium is all set to analyse the sample papers for the entrance examination. To register for the sample paper analysis session, the candidates can log in to their CLAT account, and click on the Register button on the top block.
"The CLAT 2024 will be held in December 2023 for admissions to the 5-year integrated B.A., LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M. programmes that commence in the Academic Year 2024-2025 at the 22 participating NLUs," added the official notification.
