CLAT 2024 Counselling: The Consortium of National Law Universities will close the fee payment window for CLAT counselling 2024 admission today. Those who have been allotted seats can secure their seat by completing CLAT admission process by freezing and paying the admission fee as per their category. Those who have successfully secure the seat through CLAT 2024 first merit list will be issued provisional admission letter and schedule for joining the college.
Also, those who do wish to change can apply for upgrade their CLAT 2024 seats by selecting float option. Those who wish to exit the CLAT counselling 2024 process, can do so by selecting exit option. Further, the CLAT 2024 second merit list will be released on January 8. As per the CLAT Notification 2024, the admission process for CLAT 2024 will conclude with five rounds.

What are Freeze, Float and Exit Options in CLAT 2024 Counselling?
During CLAT counselling, candidates are given option to choose from three options: freeze, float, and exit. Check details below:
- Freeze: If a candidate is satisfied with the CLAT 2024 seat allotted to them and does not wish to participate in further rounds of counselling, they may choose the freeze option. By choosing this option, they are confirming their seat at the allotted National Law University (NLU), and they will not be considered for further rounds of counselling.
- Float: If a candidate is not satisfied with the seat allotted and wishes to participate in further rounds of CLAT counselling, they may choose the float option. This option allows the candidate to accept the seat allotted to them but also indicates their willingness to participate in further rounds of counselling for a better seat.
- Exit: If at any point during the CLAT 2024 counselling process, a candidate decides not to participate any further, they may choose the exit option. By choosing this option, they can withdraw from the CLAT counselling process, and their name will not be considered for further rounds of counselling.
