The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) is set to release the first allotment list for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2024 counseling tomorrow; i.e. December 26, 2023. Aspiring candidates can access the seat allotment details on the official website- consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates receiving seat allocations will have the flexibility to freeze, float, or withdraw their seats from the ongoing counseling process.
The deadline for admissions under the CLAT 2024 first admission list is January 2, by 1 pm. If satisfied with the allotted seat and uninterested in participating in subsequent rounds, candidates can 'freeze' the seat allocation. Opting for the 'float' option is suitable if a candidate is not allocated their first NLU preference and wishes to keep the possibility open for a higher preference. Those opting not to continue in the counseling process may 'exit' admissions.
Additionally, candidates securing a seat as per NLU preferences must remit a non-refundable confirmation fee of INR 20,000 before selecting either the 'freeze' or 'float' option by the stipulated deadline.
