Will CLAT 2024 Registration deadline extend?
CLAT 2024 Registration Ends Today: The law entrance exam CLAT 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on December 3. Despite its clash with AIBE 19, The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has already announced that CLAT 2024 will be conducted only once a year that too without any change in the CLAT 2024 Exam Date. The last date to register for CLAT 2024 is November 3, 2023, i.e. today. All the candidates who are interested and are eligible must apply on or before the last date on the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Will CLAT Registration 2024 deadline be extended?
Candidates who haven't registered for CLAT 2024 yet must note that today, i.e. November 3, is the last date to register for CLAT 2024. The Consortium of NLUs began the registration for the Common Law Admission Test 2024 on July 1, 2023. Both CLAT UG and CLAT PG will be held on the same day. While the Consortium has said that CLAT 2024 Exam date will not be changed, there are several students requesting the consortium to extend the deadline to submit CLAT Application Form 2024. It appears that the Consortium might push the deadline further by a few days. However, candidates are advised to complete their CLAT 2024 registration and submit their CLAT 2024 application forms as soon as possible to avoid last-minute hassle.
An official notice released by the Consortium regarding no change in CLAT 2024 Exam date stated, “The CLAT 2024 will be held on December 3, 2023 for admissions to the 5-year integrated BA, LLB (Hons) and LLM programmes that commence in the academic eyar 2024-2025 at the 24 participating NLUs. All admissions to the 5-year integrated B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. programmes that commence in the Academic Year 2024-2025 at the 24 participating NLUs shall be through the CLAT 2024 to be held this December. The exam is conducted only ONCE for admission to each Academic Year. No additional, second, or any other CLAT examination shall be conducted for admissions in programmes commencing in the Academic Year 2023-2024,” read an official notification from CNLU.
The Consortium further clarified that all those candidates who were unsuccessful in securing admissions to their preferred NLUs through CLAT 2023, are eligible to reappear for CLAT 2024. However, such candidates will have to ensure that they fill a fresh CLAT 2024 Application Form. Candidates who are appearing for Class 12th Board Exams in May 2024 are also eligible to appear for CLAT 2024.
Last date to submit CLAT 2024 Preference List Today
Candidates must complete the submission for their NLU preference by today, i.e. November 3. CLAT 2024 NLU preference list submission deadline today. CLAT preference list is a strategic ranking of National Law Universities to which you wish to seek admission. It plays a pivotal role in determining the most suitable CLAT Participating Colleges where the student can study based on their preferences, interests, and future aspirations.
Important points to remember:
- CLAT NLU Preference List 2024 can be filled and modified until November 3, 2023, 11:59 PM.
- Candidate must fill all the 29 NLU course-wise in their preference list, excluding BSc. LLB (Honors) if you have taken Arts, Humanities or Commerce in 10+2.
- All those who have taken the Science stream in 10+2 can only apply for BSc. LLB (Honors).
- Students other than the science stream in 10+2 can directly skip the 11th & 12th preference from the list.
