The National Law School of India University, Bengaluru has revised its CLAT 2025 Seat Matrix. Candidates appearing for CLAT Exam must note that the CLAT Exam Timing 2025 is 2 pm to 4 pm. CLAT 2025: The Consortium of NLUs is all set to conduct the CLAT 2025 Exam tomorrow; i.e. December 1, 2024. Meanwhile, the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru has revised its CLAT 2025 Seat Matrix. Candidates appearing for CLAT Exam must note that the CLAT Exam Timing 2025 is 2 pm to 4 pm. As per the CLAT Exam Pattern 2025, the Common Law Entrance Exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode.

In a modification of the CLAT Information Brochure of AY 2025-26 for NLSIU, this notification is to bring to the notice of the candidates about the change in seat matrix of NLSIU, Bengaluru. The total intake capacity for B.A., LL.B (Hons) Programme shall be 310 (Three Hundred and Ten) seats for AY 2025-26. The candidates are advised to go through the changes given below:

Important Update on NLSIU Seat Matrix   

a) Fifteen (15) seats comprising 5% of the total intake shall be reserved horizontally for Persons with Disabilities (PWD).

b) Ninety (90) seats comprising 30% of the total intake shall be reserved horizontally for Women.  

c) Seventy-five (75) seats comprising 25% of the total intake shall be reserved horizontally (compartmentalised) for Karnataka Students.

 d) The ten (10) seats for Karnataka Students shall be allotted as per the entrance examination merit list.

 e) All required certificates and supporting documents shall have to be submitted to the University at the time of counselling.

Q:   Will CLAT be held twice in 2025?

A:

In 2022, CLAT exam was held twice, I. e. on June 19 as CLAT 2022, and on December 18, 2022 as CLAT 2023. However, from 2024 onwards, CLAT exam is to be conducted once in a year only, as confirmed by the exam officials in the latest notification. Earlier, CLAT exam was conducted in May or June, but from 2024 onwards the entrance exam will be conducted in December (of preceding year to the admission year) itself for concluding admissions on time. Therefore, CLAT counselling process will be completed by May of each academic year.

Q:   What is CLAT 2025 Exam Date?

A:

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has announced that CLAT 2025 Exam Date is December 1. The CLAT Application Process 2025 is likely to begin on July 7, 2024. The CLAT 2025 Exam timing is 2 pm to 4 pm. The Common Law Admission Test 2025 will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. The CLAT 2025 Exam will be held in offline mode. 

Q:   Are calculators allowed in CLAT Exam?

A:

Calculators are not allowed in the CLAT exam. However, students are provided the virtual calculator during the exam which can be used to solving lengthy calculations. The virtual calculator is made available on the computer screen during the test and candidates can use it by clicking on the calculator link. Candidates are advised to practice solving numerical questions on their own as using virtual calculators can take much time
