The Department of All India Bar Examination is closed until March 31 due to the Coronavirus outbreak in India. Check the detailed notification below.

AIBE shut due to coronavirus

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has closed the Department of All India Bar Examination (AIBE) following the Coronavirus pandemic. The decision has been taken after all the educational institutions in India have cancelled classes until March 31 as a precautionary measure against COVID-19. Moreover, the landline helpline numbers of AIBE will also be out of service during this time.

Read the official notification of AIBE regarding the same:

“This is to inform all the candidates that the department for All India Bar Examination will be closed from 20th March 2020 to 31st March 2020 as a preventive measure for COVID-19. The helpline numbers 011-49225022/23 will be closed. In case of any emergency, the candidates are requested to call on 9804580458 for any queries.”

BCI on March 18 has opened a window for the AIBE 2019 'disqualified due to missing set code' candidates to verify their answer sheets and question paper code. However, the candidates are facing technical glitches in submitting any response regarding the same. When Shiksha tried to reach out to the department regarding the same on their helpline numbers, it was not in service. This has left the disqualified candidates in despair as they are unable to verify their set codes. But now as the department will remain closed till March 31, the candidates will have to wait until the numbers are in service or for the authority to take any action on it.

Moreover, any information regarding AIBE 2020 notification is not available yet, the same was expected to be out in March.
