MAP Banglore to open on Feb 18; NLSIU students get a sneak peek

While the Museum of Art and Photography is all set to open in Bangalore on February 18, 2023, the NLSIU students get a chance to see the art pop-up on campus.

NLSIU students witnessed the art pop-up of the Museum of Art and Photography, which will open on February 18, 2023, in Bangalore.

NLSIU tweet reads, "The Museum of Art and Photography (@MAPBangalore) in Bengaluru opens to the public next month. And their first stop is NLSIU! In the lead-up to the physical launch of the museum, their art pop-up on campus gave our students and faculty a sneak peek at their opening exhibitions."

Designed by the leading Indian architectural firm, Mathew & Ghosh Architects, MAP’s building will be located in the heart of Bengaluru and will have echo functionality along with a strong focus on accessibility.

MAP is the custodian of a growing collection of over 60,000 artworks that take viewers on a comprehensive journey of Indian art and culture. Predominantly from South Asia and dating from the 10th century to the present, the collection includes paintings, sculptures, textiles, photographs and more.

PACE 5-day training programme ‘Government Contracts and Litigation Management’

The Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) department of NLSIU conducted a 5-day training programme on ‘Government Contracts and Litigation Management’ for 30 officers supported by the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance last month.

PACE designs and delivers training programmes for several leading organisations and government agencies. They blend a theoretical understanding of aspects of the law with practical know-how and real-world applications.
