The CET Cell conducted the MHCET Law 2026 entrance exam smoothly for the 3-year LLB in four shifts in two days. Candidates reported no technical glitches at the test centres after the exam concluded.

For MH CET Law 2026, the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is expected to have three main rounds (CAP Round 1, 2, & 3) for both 3-year and 5-year LLB programs. 

No, participating in the MHCET Law objection-raising process is not mandatory for all candidates. It is for those who find the evaluation to be incorrect. As specified, all candidates who appeared for the exam are free to challenge the answer key within the allocated timeline.

Scoring A 90 percentile does not mean you scored 90% marks; it means a candidate performed better than or equal to 90% of the test-takers in that session (let's say Day 1, shift 2).

The MH CET Law percentile scores are calculated using a normalization method to ensure fairness across multiple exam sessions. This method will be applicable for both 3-year LLB and  5-year LLB course.

Follow these steps to raise objections against the answer key:

• Visit the official website - cetcell.mahacet.org 
• Login to the candidate portal using your registered email address and password. 
• Click on the "Objection Tracking" option. 
• Mark the question against which you want to raise the objection
• Submit the right answer. 
• Save and submit the details to complete the process.

It is expected that the State CET Cell Maharashtra typically releases the final answer key approximately two to three weeks after the provisional key is published. 

Candidates will be issued the MHCET Law 3-year LLB scorecard in downloadable PDF format. This document will be made available through the admission portal by providing the individual login details.

The CET Cell will follow this process. Candidates would be distributed into four sessions randomly so that each session has approximately an equal number of candidates. For an instance, Session-1: Day-1 Batch 1 (D1-B1), Session-2: Day-1 Batch-2 (D1-B2), Session-3: Day-1 Batch 3 (D1-B3).

As per the media reports, a total of 83,487 aspirants are registered to take the 3-year LLB CET starting on April 1, 2026.

Candidates can expect the MHCET Law 3-year answer key to be released in the second week of April 2026 as per the trend analysis of the last five years. 

There is no provision of refunding the MHCET Law 3-year answer key objection fee. Once paid, the candidate should not expect any refund on it from the examination body.
