NALSAR Mediation Tournament 2023 begins today

The 2nd edition of the CAM Presents NALSAR Mediation Tournament in Collaboration with IAMC is scheduled between January 20 to January 22, 2023.

NALSAR University of Law has announced the 2nd edition of the CAM presents NALSAR Mediation Tournament in Collaboration with IAMC from January 20 to January 22, 2023.

In this edition, the tournament hosts 24 teams from all around India and the neighbouring countries. The competition’s goal is not only to provide a platform for aspiring lawyers to showcase their ADR skills, but also to increase the legal community’s engagement with ADR around the world, as reported by gyanville.in.

The participants will get a participation certificate, a chance to interact with NALSAR professors and alumni and an opportunity to explore the NALSAR campus.

SLSA Telangana, NALSAR collaboration

A meeting was convened at the High Court of Telangana on January 9, 2023, to discuss measures to increase collaboration and partnership between SLSA and NALSAR in legal aid and access to justice initiatives. Jus. Naveen Roa in his concluding remarks identified some areas where immediate collaborative efforts can be initiated between the two institutions and requested the Member Secretary SLSA to map out an implementation plan. The areas that were identified for collaboration are a. Land Rights Clinic; b. Organizing PLV and Law Students Workshop on Land Rights; c. Facilitate the NALSAR Prison Clinic; d. Community Mediation; e. Facilitate the NALSAR Pro-bono Club to organize Village Halts, Jan Sunwaii and PLV Training in panchayat areas of Medchal and Ranga Reddy District.
