NALSAR organises Workshop on “Intellectual Property (IP) as a business tool”

NALSAR University of Law in association with T-Hub organized a workshop on “Intellectual Property (IP) as a business tool” on the occasion of World IP Day 2023. Around 150 startups registered for this program and several founders and key leadership interacted during the same. Read here to know more.

On the occasion of World IP Day 2023, the DPIIT-IPR Chair and N.C. Banerjee Centre for IPR Studies, NALSAR University of Law in association with T-Hub organized a workshop on “Intellectual Property (IP) as a business tool”.

Around 150 startups registered for this program and several founders and key leadership interacted during the same. A welcome address was delivered by Mr Srinivas Rao Mahankali, CEO T-Hub. 

It was followed by the inaugural address by Prof. Srikrishna Deva Rao, Vice-Chancellor of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad where he highlighted the significance of intellectual property for innovation and creativity in the startup ecosystem.

Prof. Anindya Sircar conducted a masterclass wherein he discussed in detail the intricacies of the commercialisation of intellectual assets. This was followed by an ‘Ask Me Anything (AMA)’ session where participants discussed their business models and future plans of action.

NALSAR's Workshop on Skills for Practicing Law on May 6

The university is all set to conduct a workshop on Skills for Practicing Law on May 6, 2023.

The workshop is designed to offer an advanced inquiry into law practice skills, on themes which are scarcely included in the regular curriculum and teaching-learning process. It will equip participants with a practical understanding of the related skills for practising law and enable them to enrich their advocacy skills. Students studying law from any law school can apply for this course.
