National Law University Delhi has extended the Advanced Course in Criminal Law by one more day at no additional cost, now it will conclude on May 8, 2022.
National Law University Delhi (NLUD) has notified that it has extended the Advanced Course in Criminal Law by one more day. Earlier, the program was scheduled between May 2 to May 7, 2022 and now the last date of the course will be May 8, 2022.
The notification says, "The course is designed to offer an advanced inquiry into criminal law, on themes which are scarcely included in regular curriculum and teaching-learning process. These include aspects of history and evolution of criminal law, essential principles of criminal liability, processual justice and critiques of the formal criminal law system. These sessions will also involve reflection of criminal law’s engagement with gender and discussions about contemporary criminal law reforms. The course will equip participants with a nuanced understanding of criminal law jurisprudence and enable them to enrich their pedagogical approach in the classroom."
Details of NLUD's Advanced Course in Criminal Law
The eligibility criteria is teachers/instructors from India and South Asia with a minimum of five years of experience in teaching criminal law can apply for the course. A total number of 40 participants will be accepted into the course. Applications will strictly be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All participants will be awarded with a certificate upon successful completion of the course. The course fee is INR 10,000 including accommodation, three meals, and refreshments and INR 6,000 without accommodation but inclusive of lunch and refreshments.
"Accommodation will only be provided on a twin-sharing basis, and will not be provided to participants residing in Delhi," added the notification.
