NLUD to host panel discussions on role of IP in women empowerment

National Law University Delhi in association with Indian IPO & UK IPO, will host panel discussions on the role of IP in women's empowerment & how IP has supported the growth of women as inventors, creators & entrepreneurs on May 5, 2023.

The event is being held to mark World IP Day 2023 and India’s G20 initiatives on women empowerment. Attendance is by invitation only.

NLUD also congratulated the newly-elected Governing Board Members of the NLU Delhi Alumni Association which include Nipun Saxena, Pranav Krishna, Priyanka Hazarika, Shrutanjay Bhardwaj, and Sushant Singh.

"We thank our alumni community for actively coming together to participate & vote. The election of the Governing Board is a major step towards the formalization of our Alumni Association. It will bring structure and strength to its functioning. We look forward to working with the Board Members and planning the next set of activities with our Alumni in the coming months," reads NLUD's official notification. 

The law university is all set to conduct an international seminar on access to knowledge and the future of digital libraries in India: Technology, Law, Policy. The seminar will be jointly organized with Ambedkar University of Delhi.

The Normative Underpinning of the Library Exception in Indian Copyright Laws, and Digital Licensing: Issues and Concerns.
