National Law University Delhi to launch 3 programmes under academic initiatives - Abhyasa Initiative, International Visitorship Prog, and National Scholars-in-Residence Program.

NLUD to launch 3 programmes under academic initiatives

National Law University Delhi is all set to launch 3 programmes under academic initiatives with an aim to build research capacity, scholarship & academic collaborations. These three programmes are - Abhyasa Initiative, International Visitorship Programme, and National Scholars-in-Residence Program.

The NLUD Abhyasa Initiative will seek to bring in the experiences of practitioners and professionals in respective areas (except seminar courses) by way of assigning specific topics which delve into the practical aspects of the subject. Practical aspects such as filing/drafting applications, understanding specific rules and procedures, technical/scientific dimensions which are important from an evidentiary/factual perspective in litigation, the special court

procedures (if any) that are adopted to resolve disputes, drafting exercises etc. which are closely aligned with the subject may be undertaken.

International Visitorship Programme - The programme is designed to enrich the academic and research ecosystem at NLU Delhi through interactions with outstanding international scholars by offering opportunities to international scholars to develop their research and explore innovative ways of engaging with NLU Delhi faculty and students in a vibrant and learning environment including offering niche courses and promoting greater academic and research links with institutions and individuals across the globe. The University welcomes applications for the programme from - academics holding full-time positions in their institutions; and professionals/practitioners with over 7 years of industry experience.

National Scholars-in-Residence Program - For this programme also, the University welcomes applications for the programme from- academics holding full-time positions in their institutions; Doctoral and post-doctoral researchers; and Professionals/practitioners with over 7 years of industry experience. There is however a limit on the number of available places and priority would be given to scholars from partner institutions of the University.
