AIBE Department releases status for 'disqualified' 'missing set-codes' and 'cancelled test-centres' candidates for as the AIBE 2020 registrations begins from May 16. Here is the detailed notification.
AIBE Department on May 15, released notifications for AIBE 14 candidates who were disqualified, missing set-codes and test centres were cancelled. AIBE 2020 registrations will begin from May 16 onwards. AIBE Department has released the status so that candidates can appear for the upcoming examination after knowing the status. Check here the status of all candidates who appeared for AIBE 14 but disqualified or results not declared due the reasons mentioned along.
Status for those who appeared at 'cancelled test centres'
AIBE Department had cancelled 9 test centres including, Allahabad (5 centres), Bhopal, Jabalpur and Visakhapatnam and, results for the candidates who appeared at these centres were withheld.
What did the AIBE Department decide for the candidates who appeared at these test centres?
According to the notification released late at night on May 15, the candidates would be issued admit cards for AIBE 2020 without any fresh registration. So, when the admit card of AIBE 15 is released on August 9 (tentatively), the candidates would be able to download it using their AIBE 14 registration number and date of birth.

“This is to inform that the candidates who appeared at the cancelled centres for AIBE-XIV held on Sunday, 15th September 2019; as per Notification No. (AIBE/WS/155) (6th Feb 2020) do not have to pay examination fee for AIBE-XV. The above-mentioned candidates do not have to follow the generic procedure of registration and shall wait for the link to directly download their admit card for AIBE-XV which will be made available on the day of release of admit cards (9th August 2020). One can log in using the following details and download their admit card: 1. Registration Number 2. Date of Birth Also, the absent candidates at cancelled centres whereas the candidates who were disqualified due to set code missing/mismatch issue shall be updated soon.”
Status for set-code missing/ mismatching for AIBE 14
Candidates whose set-codes were missing or mismatched on their answer sheets for AIBE 14 were termed 'disqualified' on February 7 after AIBE monitoring committee's decision. On March 18, AIBE department asked these candidates to verify their set-codes and answer sheets. However, due to COVID-19 lockdown, the process could not be completed.
What AIBE Department has decided for missing/mismatch set codes candidates?
Now, BCI has asked the candidates whose set-code were missing/mismatched with answer sheets to apply for AIBE 2020, as a fresh candidate. They have to pay the application fee as applicable for AIBE 2020, given below:

“The candidates who fell under the category of Set-code mismatch/missing in AIBE-XIV held on Sunday, 15th September 2019; as per the Honourable Monitoring Committee’s decision stood disqualified for the respective examination. The above-mentioned candidates who will appear for AIBE-XV will have to follow the generic registration process and pay the examination fee as required. Status for Candidates Absent/ Present at ' Cancelled Test Centres'
After conducting AIBE 14, BCI decided to cancel exams held at 9 nine test centres. The candidates who appeared for the examination on September 15 were disqualified and results withheld. But, status for candidates who were marked 'absent' at these test centres was not disclosed/ decided.
What AIBE Committee has decided for 'Present/Absent' candidates at the 9 cancelled test centres?
As per the official notification, candidates marked present for AIBE 14 cancelled test centres need not apply as fresh candidates and, admit card would be issued to them to appear in AIBE 2020 (also shared above). However, candidates who were marked 'Absent' for AIBE 14 held on September 15, 2019, need to apply again by new registration and paying the applicable fee to appear for AIBE 2020.

“This is to notify that the candidates who appeared at the cancelled centres for AIBE-XIV on Sunday, 15th September 2019; if appearing for AIBE-XV, do not have to pay the examination fees for AIBE-XV whereas the candidates on the who did not appear for AIBE-XIV at the cancelled centres will have to follow the generic registration process and pay the examination fee to appear in AIBE-XV.
