TS LAWCET & PGLCET 2024: Osmania University, Hyderabad will start the registration process for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) and the Telangana State Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (TS PGLCET) on March 1, 2024. Interested candidates can fill up the TS LAWCET & TS PGLCET 2024 application form online at the official website: lawcet.tsche.ac.in. The last date to fill TS LAWCET application form 2024 without any late fees is April 15. 

Earlier, the varsity released the detailed TS LAWCET & PGLCET notification that includes important dates, eligibility criteria, steps to apply, exam pattern and other information. As per the schedule released, TS LAWCET & PGLCET 2024 will be conducted on June 3 in three different shifts.  

What are the TS LAWCET & PGLCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria? 

The eligibility requirements for Telangana LAWCET and PGLCET 2024 is different. Candidates can check below the points to know whether they are eligible to apply for TS LAWCET & PGLCET 2024 or not: 

TS LAWCET Eligibility for 5-year LLB

  • Candidates must have passed in their class 12th from any recognized board/council 
  • The minimum qualifying marks required in the TS LAWCET 2024 is 45% for the General and OBC categories. Whereas OBC and ST/ST categories must secure at least 42% and 40% marks respectively 
  • Moreover, they should clear the TS LAWCET with 35% ie. 42 marks out of a total of 120 marks

TS LAWCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria for 3-year LLB

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST and 42% for OBC categories)

TS PGLCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

  • Candidates with a graduation in Law (LLB/BL) of 3 or 5 years from a recognized university
  • Those who are in the final year of their LLB/BL can also appear for the entrance exam. However, they must have completed the degree and meet all university requirements before counselling
  • They need to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate for the General and OBC categories. Those belonging to SC/ST categories get a relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks requirement

Candidates can fill up the application form of TS LAWCET and PGLCET online from the official website. They can go through the steps to know how to apply for TS LAWCET & PGLCET: 

Step 1: Go to the official website: lawcet.tsche.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, find and click on the registration link

Step 3: Complete TS LAWCET & PGLCET registration by entering all the required details 

Step 4: Login and fill up the application form, upload the documents and pay the specified registration fees 

Step 5: Submit TS LAWCET & PGLCET form and take a printout of it for future references
